Kuptana Site

Kuptana is a large camp site located in the interior of Banks Island, near the Thomsen River, in what is today called Aulavik National Park. It contains multiple caches and tent rings, and bone artifacts made from muskox and caribou antler. It is named for the Kuptana family, a branch of which lives in Ikaahuk (Sachs Harbour) today.
