Aullaviat/Anguniarvik Traditional Conservation Area Established

This Inuvialuit-led conservation area on the Yukon north slope protects important traditional use areas for Inuvialuit and crucial habitat for the Porcupine Caribou herd and other wildlife. It completes a network of protected areas across the Yukon and Alaska north slope that were envisioned in land claim agreements.
