The first Inuvialuit law, titled Inuvialuit Qitunrariit Inuuniarnikkun Maligaksat – the Inuvialuit Family Way of Living Law - implements the inherent rights of Inuvialuit to protect and preserve the wellbeing of Inuvialuit children, youth and families.
